Here are some fun memories from this year’s 5k walk and fundraiser for the American Stroke Foundation. Mark Clegg of NBC Action News MC’d the event. Highlights this year include Marc Mason of M2 Fitness, Anthony Davis was on hand to provide several wonderful pieces of sport memorabilia for the auction. Balloon AD-Ventures provided hot air balloons, and raffled a champagne balloon ride. Dale Wittenborn of Your Classic Ride, also a stroke survivor, brought a couple of his vintage autos out for everyone to enjoy. Great music was provided by Harvest Moon. And finally, Ralph got the grand prize for raising the most money on-site, hope you enjoyed the pie, Ralph!
Thanks Patrick for letting me be a part of such a great event!
I met Devran through the Shanwee Mission Chamber, and subsequently took a fantastic sales class with him. If anyone is qualified to teach motivational seminars, goal setting, etc., it’s Devran. Natural bodybuilders submit to both urine drug screenings and lie-detector tests. Oh, and don’t forget the dedication to the training. Amazing!
He also offers 4 presentations at this time:
Here’s some business portraits of Dave Gundersen, his lovely wife, and his new buyers agent. You’ve heard of the 80/20 rule? Dave is one of the 20% of the realtors in the KC Metro area that move 80% of the homes. Last year, after the burst of the real estate bubble, he still managed to sell 35 homes for people. If you want to sell your house, look no farther. Learn more at: http://www.daverealestate.com/
Believe it or not, the fastest radio control planes aren’t jets or racers, they’re gliders! The sport is called Dynamic slope soaring, where only the power of the wind is used to accelerate the plane. Speeds approaching 400 mph have been recorded on a radar gun. (Real speed, not “scale”) Jason is one of the top contenders for the world record! See this video of his newest plane:
Isn’t it fun to send greeting cards to people? Isn’t it great to recieve them? My business networking group’s motto is “givers gain”, and I”ve never found anything to be more true. Give someone a heartfelt message, and see just how good it makes you feel!
I’ve found the most incredible way to accomplish this. It’s with a company called – “Send Out Cards”.
Click the link to try it for yourself!

Photo workshops are too much fun to be called “work”
Here we are with several members of the Kansas Professional Photographers Association, guests of John and Cindy LaBarge of J&C Imaging. Thanks to all who attended!
