Trinity Lutheran Church – Faith In Action

The other morning Deb Hartje showed up at the Shawnee Chamber networking/coffee meeting to tell us what the Trinity Lutheran church was doing to put their Faith in Action. Instead of worshipping in the sanctuary on Sunday morning, the congregation was going to go into the community and serve. They had several projects going on simultaneously, more than enough choice for everyone to find a way to help.

This struck a chord with me, so I volunteered to wander around and take some photos (instead of actually working . Below is the result.

Wow, we had a great time at Jason Arkin’s Bar-Mitzvah the other night. We took our photo imaging printers which we use for KC Event Photo and made framed portraits for the guests right there on the spot! Everyone was very appreciative of the service. Thanks to the Arkin family for having us there!
